How's the work culture of corporate communications professional in automotive sector

World culture as a communication professional in advt agency vs automotive company would be miles apart.

My theory- work culture in non core roles will always be good. The politics in such team will be less or even non existent. The reason is the growth options in such roles are limited. The team leadership will not be under p&l pressure. Overall work culture of the organisation need not reflect the same in those non core roles. For eg- have you ever heard of HR complain about long work hours or stressful timelines?
