How's PMO role in TCS?

I've been in monitoring and support for 3.5 years. Basically didn't take career seriously until now and didn't upskill as I figured out quite late that IT industry is not for me.

I want to go in management roles now as I think my talents of blabbering would fit the best there. I want to start somewhere and eventually transition to a Project/Product Manager role.

So, how's a PMO role in TCS? I'm on bench right now and been getting calls for the same. Will I get the career kickstart I want in management if I accept a PMO role? If not, what are some other ways I could do the same? Thanks in advance.
