Assistant brand manager are brand paid roles btw. Have been there. The brands are to close SBS (internally called brand specialist) for which brands pay some amount to amazon.

Plus promotion PATH to. CM is not directy charted out for this role. Do have a communication on future growth path. L5 are mainly CM and min of 2-3 years is required for promotion. 2 yrs very rare.

Role wise it is heavily external stakeholder dependent role like brands or seller
