How you guys deal with people taunt
Hi Everyone If you belongs to Bihar and UP, you might be aware about that here govt job get more respect than any Private job no matter how much you earn.
I have 6 YOE and I have earn a CTC of 24 LPA, which i think decent, but people around me still made me realize like there is no importance of that. Also since I do WFH they talk behind my back that he don't do any job even as I used to live at my village.
I am currently a sole earner for my family, I don't have much parental property since my father was a Farmar have an old house at my village, which I have planned to build a new house for my family. The reason I don't show off much remain simple focusing a bit on saving. Even someone elder from my village said that if you earn I am not seeing anything like build house, own car like that.
Initially I was ignoring it but now I see the current IT market and somehow started realizing that they are saying correct, It started giving me an inferiority complex now.
How do you guys deal with it, I just thought to share it here.😑

I used to WFH too before I took break, was at 35 lpa I knowingly acted in a certain way so that people should assume that I either earn less or worse I'm still dependent on my dad.
Best thing I ever did, little do they know I'm paying off my parents debt taking care of their debts. I deliberately ask my dad and brother to paint a low level picture of mine in public.
Ragebait them man, I just give suggestions and watch them squirm as they have an assumption that I don't earn enough and I still give suggestions to people.
My elders want me to get married because they think if I get a wife and dowry I might work hard and become rich. Which I don't it's so entertaining man just ragebaiting people in real life everyday.
Thanks bro, will try but in my case since my parents has not earned the way I was doing, so they already told that I am earning around 1.5 Lakh per month and people around me is not able to digest that 🤣🤣🤣
That's a discussion that I have put forward to my parents no discussing my salary ever. And even if you want to say my salary it should be at max 40,000 inr.
Abb unko bolo bolne ki you earn in Hungarian Forint which makes your actual salary 50k only. My parents also told my salary to everyone then I told them to say this and act sad in front of gossiping contacts and soon the clean up was done.
And everyone has come with hardship it's just I don't want the other person know that I'm doing good because then they get their attention divided to my life too, arre ye toh ache se WFH krr rha hai Nazar laga dete
Honestly keep doing what you're doing. There is no need to live upto other people's expectations or standards. It is completely okay to build wealth silently than to show it off through materialistic things like cars or other things.
You could certainly plan towards building a house for your family, but do it for your family, not for friends or village elders or anyone else.
Spend and manage your money wisely.

26 lpa ctc at 6 yrs of exp is an achievement for majority of India. Please be proud of yourself. Let those moron think whatever they want to think and that should be least of your concern. You really dont need to show off anything but always keep yourself happy as there is no end for savings

I'm also from Bihar. Some relative made a random taunt at me and i literally replied "oh hahhaha". They shut up after that. Just answer something nonsensical to make it look like you are not affected. And you shouldn't let random people have influence over your emotions. You are doing well. Plan your finances well. Save, invest well. Let people be. Those who are tainting don't have a good life themselves and are trying to feel better by showing you down. If anything, you should feel sorry about them!
