One if my friends did this in his company. Went up to the manager said I am taking a break and will be going back to his home town due to some personal reason and won’t be working from now on. Submitted his assets and verbally agreed to the notice period . Then went home send an email that he is not going to serve notice period and all the assets have been submitted and he expects a relieving letter with in 30 days. The company didn’t agree so he filed a case in labour court. Got the letter within a week and then filed a harassment case for 10 lacs. That one is still going on. Just always say that your notice is 30 days and go with this approach if absolutely needed

You tell me. Guy works at National Australia bank for 30+ lpa now. In his previous company he had maybe 5 lpa. So how exactly is that ruining your career?

Just stick it out, 90 days is nothing in the long run.

Yes, But I am getting many rejections from some big companies just because of this. Is there any way we can shorten the NP?

See we have a strong belief of leaving the organisation only when you have another offer and here is the problem. If you don't receive an offer now but you are confident with the skills that you can survive anywhere then go for resignation without the offer. You have 90 days for it and trust me when you start serving notice companies will start taking interest in you.

I believe you joined Accenture as a fresher, but if you would have joined as lateral, even in most cases Accenture prefer to give offer to ones who are serving notice.
