How to take release

Hi everyone! Can anyone help me with how I can take release from my current project.

Stop working, take leaves, don’t join standup meetings, do anything which will force your lead to release you.

Go in a gentle manner. Release is not an easy process in TCS. You have to wait for it. Begin the process. Talk to your manager first, and then send an email with whatever response he gives. Follow up on the email every month or quarter. If he does not respond, add his supervisor to the email. If there is still no response after a few months, add HR. If you do not receive a response, do what was said in the first response. If you have any health issues, that would be beneficial here. Patience should be a must. By the way, forget about your rating and promotion.

Fortunately, if the project is ramping down, you will receive the release during the process. If you believe this is a time-consuming process, consider other options.
