So I came to know that in a year, we can take 2 optional holidays but no idea how to submit in myTe. Can anyone guide how to submit in myte. Do we need to inform the TL and submit it? What will be the pros and cons

For taking optional leave first please check in holiday list , if that day is available for optional leave or not. Than secondary you don't need to update your TL for optional leave as you have already updated about your leave to them. Them while marking in MyTE use wbse which is available in MyTE under 'optional leave'

Only 2 optional leave we can take in the cycle of jan to dec

You got to notify your immediate supervisor about the upcoming optional holiday and then avail it.
