How to take a release from a project?
I have been allocated to the unit(account), but they haven't given me any team or project. 3 months gone and I am waiting for the work. What should I do? How to take a release?
Speak to your manager asking for release, if it not happens easily and they try to convince, ask them for a task and first share your aspirations with your manager. If nothing goes good keep crushing him/her for release, speak to your RMG if manager keeps dragging. Meanwhile try to get know any openings with any of your friends projects and let the new manager drag you from your current engagement. In TCS you have to let the managers fight each other.
I was never on bench but I wanted to know do you guys get your full salary when your on bench?
I am having the same problem. I got release from my previous project in October. In November I gave 25-30 interviews for the new project. I got added to new client project, new unit(it was the time of Diwali and new year). Entire December they did the onboarding process like sso id, email generation, vpn,etc. after new year in January I got lead he added goals in my speed and asked me to complete and finish. Till Jan 8 I did everything. After that I was told there is change in my team and since then I’m getting redirected ghosted, changes in allocation,etc to different people till now. Only getting recommendations of courses. I have mailed manager and the people whom I’m getting redirected to but no KT, no team, no work only allocation is getting increased. So I’m using this opportunity to learn and switch.
Same here. Scrum master giving courses to complete. But I am done with doing courses. 🥲
