
How to switch from developer to HR role in Tcs?
I dont want to resign from job . Due to medical condition i want to move to position where no much load is there and working hours are fixed. I am thiking to request for recruiter role but dont have much knowledge about it..
- Is it possible to request for such role in tcs?
- What are pros and cons?
- What is impact on salary restructring?
- Any course which can help me to transition to this role?

In most of the roles, load will be there. HR, recruitment any role. You can discuss your request with HR. If your medical condition is temporary and can be recovered in couple of months, then you can take LWP. focus on improving your health and then join back. You won't loose your job

Right now job is the only thing kept me going... so will not take LWP as of now.. but i am really tired of extended working hours that too without any compensation..family is pushing me to leave IT job only and be at home.. i am passionate about my job .. but really need stable working hours and even if i go outside TCS it will be difficult to get work life balance.. it same situation almost everywhere.. sometimes i am clueless how to handle this.. so was searching for alternative suitable roles for me..and came up with this thought.. i need to understand pros and cons of different HR role..
