How to survive chennai floods?

Assume I’m staying at OMR / Navalur. My Manager is hesitant about approving WFH. Should I leave without notifying?

Most managers have provided WFH exception for three days and asked us to raise.

Have you tried confirming with your HR?

I am yet to raise @SuperbPagan . They dont have any specific section for this as far as i know. pick any category that has a notes section and mention chennai rains.

Decide what is important Job/Life No manager is above Chief minister. Already govt urged to give WFH. Just take WFH. In any case manager make issues, raise a grievance

Should be an advisory issued by location admins to projects. Not received one yet.

I guess just raise an exception. Chennai rains is all in the news and flights are also getting cancelled. How silly is your manager in this? My advice- just raise it. Even your HR will understand this.
