Trending @Infosys; How to stay long in Infosys?
I have seen some people are in Infosys since 7-8 years or 14-15 years. I wonder how they manage to stay in Infosys this much long time? For me I didn't get increment a single time in 3 years.
Max 5yrs after that you might get addicted to organisation and will loose confidence outside
If you see people staying in 7-8 years you can see that there is not much increase in their slaary. But people staying for 14-15 years had a good package back then. I have been in Infosys for 6.7 years now, stuck in a bad position. If you want to stay long then cross skill join different projects gain knowledge, keep asking for hikes. Basically we have to beg for a hike continuously. We need to be in constant touch with our managers for increments.

If you stay long like 15+ years there are good chances to get promoted to GPM/ DM .. their package is high compared to us.. 20+ higher chances to get promoted to AVP.. but you need to put little bit efforts like reskilling etc
