How to stay in Bench in infosys for more than 6 months

I have recently come into bench and want to stay in bench for more than 6 months so that can prepare well to crack good company . Please give suggestion how to stay in this market condition.

I don't know what to do. I know what not to do. Never ask for a specific project. They will force you to take up the next available project. Spew the normal BS with the HR, - challenging, learning experience, etc.... you can delay a couple of projects, max.
