How to reduce Notice Period

I have put down my papers and my next joining date is 2 days before the last working day as per the notice period in my current org. Is there a way to reduce the notice period by 2 days ? I don’t have any dependencies on me. I have few earned leaves as well. Can I trade them off to shorten the Np or is there a better way ?
