How to redeem earned leaves
I have 41 EL pending i wanna redeem that through pay what is the process to do that
Earned leaves more than 48 only are auto encased at end of finamcial year. For example, if you have 58 leaves then only 10 leaves will be encashed and automatically added to you payslip of April (new financial year.) else when you resign then all pending earned leaves are encashed in final settlement . In your case, since u have 41, these will not be encashed now. Wait till u cross 48.
What about sick leave i have 23 sick leave Pending
Sick leave get lapsed if more than 44. Also, it can't be encashed. Better keep taking random sick leaves now and then rather than waste it. Also more than 3 sick leaves can be availed together only with a medical certificate. If you have any known doctor or other source to get you medical document then request them to prepare for 1-2 weeks. Like this it won't get lapsed and you will get some break also.
Would suggest to just utilise the earned leaves you get. Excess to 48 leaves are encashed at every quarter end, once leaves are credited. Problem with encashment is, it's done on basic pay which is very less compared to gross salary due to inflated personal allowance.
I cant utilise them cause i have 23 sick leaves also
how long have you been here to accumulate these leaves ??????? or are you not taking leaves at all ????
