How to port tcs health insurance to personal health insurance.
I have resigned and currently in notice period. For this process, will HR approval or some document from them needed? Please help if anybody done that recently.
There would be a briefing session of separation process. Your saparation HR will brief the process there in the session. If not you can ask the same there. The process is you have to download and share the policy continuation letter from HIS portal and share to the Insurance company SPOC. They will guide you. In the session, separation HR will share you the SPOC details.
This has to be completed before your last working day. You can mail the policy continuation letter to Insurance SPOC 2 or 3 weeks before your LWD. They will help you to port the group policy to retail policy.
And fyi TCS pays insurance premium for employee and beneficiaries upfront and recovered from employees as installments. If you have any outstanding amount it will be recovered from your FFS.
