How to overcome toxic environment and people in the project

I work at Accenture in a general shift, but my project is so toxic that they ask to work for more than 9 hours and which are out of the timings and doesn’t provide any shift allowances, and they also ask to work on weekend every week. They won’t even leave for one week to enjoy the weekend or take rest. We work till late night and also they still ask us to work on weekend. Can someone please suggest how to overcome all these even if we raise all these issues or concerns to management, they don’t even care and they force us to work on weekend on work and out of the shift timings and overtime. Associate director, keep shouting on everybody even my Manager every day and is so toxic that she is so arrogant and doesn’t listen to anybody’s concern, she doesn’t care about anyone’s health or problem. She just want her work to be finished, or she just shows her attitude even to any level of the employee, even if we work till 2 AM at night, we need to still login at 9 o’clock in the morning. How to overcome this how to complain or whom to complain, please suggest.

I am facing the same fukcing issue. Im considering raising a complaint with HR and AST. Keep a note of whatever they say to build a case.

Video record them. Tell them it's for quality and training purposes of how work at Accenture happens. If they ask if you are gonna post it somewhere, tell them if things go wrong and unethical, you might have to. If they say you are recording without consent, tell them you are being overworked without consent (I hope nothing like this is mentioned in your work agreement that you've downloaded and kept a soft copy of). If they bully and say you'll be fired, tell them then you'll definitely post this and make sure it reaches to everyone and make their life a living hell, just like how they are overworking and making your life a living hell.

Raising complaints to HR and management won't work these days until you bring in public attention and outlash.

If you can't do all of these, put your papers and find another job. Nobody is forcing you to be stuck in that job. Your life, your mental and physical health. You matter the most for yourself. Everything else comes next.

No amount of money is worth our peace getting disturbed like this. Make a brave move , practice hard , and try to switch companies

Switch. Start ignoring management's rant. Pray to god that in the next job you don't have to face this.

Then ask them for on call shift allowance

Don't you have a life outside of work ? 🙂 Your work should be fueling your life outside of it. If you spend more than 9hrs as an employee of a company that provides your no stocks or ESOPs or any valuable ownership that rewards you in direct proportion of your contribution, why even spend more than 8hrs honestly ?

Once upon a time I was in Wipro - Then I told my manager "I am not giving my life for you or some corporate"...

Stop giving fuck, login at 9- logout at 5... They can't send police to your home or arrest you or kidnap you in the office... Don't care if they scream, embarrass you... Complaining doesn't help.

Study for 3-4 hours daily and 8 hours on weekends... You will get 3-5 times paying job within a couple of months...

The only solution to your problem is joining somewhere else. Most legacy IT services survive on cost arbitrage and the more they make you work without additional pay the more they earn, it's a simple math for them. What you are experiencing is literally their business model so no matter who you speak with, it's not going to change

Yes, it's a common issue we face in all these service based companies, they don't even give compensation for working in non working hours, just to save some money, and show it as profit.
