How to negotiate salary after offer is released?

So I got an offer from Infosys of around 90% hike.. my joining is on April 28th, but I just got an offer from a different company with around 110% and I really want to be in Infosys than the other company. How do I proceed about this? Whom should I mail? I really don't know if they will respond or not.. Please suggest what I can do guys.

Ideally you should call first and explain — this is delicate and you need to be careful. Sending email will not look good without a heads-up.

Now whom to call — I can understand with Infy it can become a faceless process but there must be some HR person who was in touch with you all this time right ? Maybe start with them.

In these situations Be ready to walk away if Infy say says no. That’s the thumb rule. It won’t look good if they say no and you say ok just trying.

So if you reaaaalllly want any to go to Infy and dnt wanna take risk may as well let go of the 20%. It’s ok — people do all the time.

Having said that - I am very curious what that second company is. Infy shud be the choice above unemployment.

Infosys won't match other offer's instead they'll withdraw the offer. Happened to my friend as well so play your cards right.

What's the counter offer you've with you ?
