Trending @Infosys; How to Move to another DC location ?
I really want to Move to my nearest DC location . I joined Infosys one week back and i was not given my nearest DC. I'm on beanch and I feeling depressed. Anyone Please help.
Please reach your bphr or manager to get transfer to your near dc
BPHR told to contact to your manager and currently my manager is TPD & he is telling me that he will not relocate me.
Please get project assigned to you for which you can work from Kolkata also. Once project is assigned you can request manager in project for DC transfer
Fir join kyu kia yaar? Jab nearest DC was not promised in offer letter why accept/joint and feel depressed!! At one week in company I am assuming you are a lateral and would have been recruited for a particular unit or account. So you don’t have to search for a project at least for now. They will be doing it for you or already your project would have been decided. If there is no location constraint in project you can work from any dc irrespective of whether it’s base dc or not. But if there is location restrictions. Or your manager wants you to sit with your team you have no choice then.

First get tagged in a project, that aligns with your needs
as the other people said , if you find any project which has no loc constraints, ask them for a relocation and also a child code of Kolkata Dc(if not already created by them) , then only you will get transfer.
Finding Kolkata based projects are little tough right now, as DC is really new.
How to get tagged with those projects can I ask my TPD to get me a project without location constraints or do you know any internal way (like Infyme) to search for those type of projects
TPD won't do anything, there is no project refusal policy , and also you have to meet the project demands what they want, if they are an odc based project, they won't allow you. So while giving internal evaluation in any project, just mention them is it possible to work from nearest DC and or can a transfer be initiated.
If you are on project which has no location constraints, discuss with your manager to initiate a transfer request.
If you are on bench, either you need to find projects which have no location constraints or find projects available in your nearest DC.
Can you tell me how to find project that has bo location costrants or in my nearest DC. Actually I'm new to Infosys
U can actually work from nearest DC and your attendance will be marked, no need to go to the base DC, there are many people who do this. Also if ur wfh is in hours u don't even need to work from DC.
Is there any option for permanent wfh in infosys? Any methods for that? Currently iam in mysore DC
