How to make friends in the office.
Hey guys recently I started visiting the office and I'm feeling like I'm alone. Daily I'm going to the office working alone and taking breakfast and lunch alone and coming back. I don't have any project colleagues in the office and that is hurting me. I'm seeing people enjoy their office with friends, going for trips. Please let me know if anyone is in similar situations (Specially in Pune).
Participate in events and activities organized by the company. Or there must be some communities with same interyourin your organization.. or if there is recreational room usually can go there and play various games like carrom TT etc. That's a great way to connect. U don't have to get attached to anyone but it's always nice to know and interact with people around you professionally. If no events then may be you can smile randomly at employees (preferably same gender to avoid issues) who seem chill or whom you see daily while you go to fill your water bottle or start a meaningful conversation about project or technology or current happenings while you grab a cup of coffee. It's very important to connect with collegues professionally. Avoid gossips.

If you see someone sitting alone in the canteen may be you can ask - can I sit here? If the person seems friendly you can start a conversation like which department do you work in? What's the work like and then share your experience as well. If you still find it difficult then ask ChatGPT. It will guide you. :)
Same has been happening with it's been 1.5 years earlier I use to enjoy in pune as I had friends but now no one's there and it's super boring, eating alone sitting alone, my project doesn't even have much work so it's hard to pass the time

Right question to ask is, Why to make friends in the office? Why you are mixing professional life with personal life?
Sir when we go to the office at least we should feel like humans and not just like machines. So we should have some colleagues so we shouldn't feel bored.
