Trending @Infosys; How to leave project in infosys-JL4?

I’m a JL4 and have been in a project for the last 3 years. It’s a dead end job with no real learning of any kind particularly technical skills. Work is purely on excel. Plus, I have got no progression or promotion in these years inspite of having rating of 4. Hike was also only 4%. Pressure is very high even though clients don’t care and team is very very toxic with lots of undeserving management favourites who get ahead very easily. I want to leave the project as I have zero motivation to work. However I was told I can’t due to some policy. Is there such a policy? How can I leave?

Bro update ur skills according to the job description of ur favourite companies job title and leave no one gives a f about u but urself. Be strong 💪🏻 once be confident enough put esep . Funny thing is ur manager also dont even ask u why u want to exit 🙂 i saw so many candidates here not approving their exit date. Infy will auto approve ur esep before 2 weeks i guess. So be an alpha of ur future. Dont think much. Be selfish like they r

There is no such policy. But the reality is that Infosys doesn’t pay you to work on a project of your choice which will always challenge you and excite you. 70% of the projects we get are run of the mill stuff and mundane, so who does it if everyone wants to learn new / exciting stuff. The only official way to get out of project is through IJP or resignation. The biggest bottleneck for such movements is that your manager has no incentive to leave you as he takes care of your project/account. He doesn’t have visibility/responsibility beyond it.
