How to land internships in Core VLSI ?

As a student doing a masters in India, are there any ways to get an internship for digital design or verification roles ? Everything I see online (Linkedin/Grapevine) is majorly focused for software engineers. With a very narrow pool of companies and startups in core vlsi, having real trouble navigating. I would really appreciate it if I could get any sort of guidance or referrals.
