currently I am going through PIP process and it is not going well due to project work pressure and PIP task, it also affect my health , I don't have any offer letter in hand right now, I want take a break for 2 to 3 months to improve health and work on my skills, how can I justify this gap in interview, can interviewer understand this or any issue I will face , will it affect negative on interview process?

2-3 month break no one notices, if the break is more than a year, you will struggle in getting a job. I would suggest, plan your future...like enroll in a course, take LinkedIn, naukri premium.

First 1 month focus on learning, and building CV, next 2 months try to attend as many as interviews possible.

Many companies run weekend drives, you can attend that as well.

There are plenty of job openings right now, no need to take stress, immediate joiners are VIP for recruiter.

No give real reason, mental health is a big issue don't ignore it. It shouldn't affect your career a break of 3-4 months.

Just say there was family emergency in case you feel like it.

I have taken a gap of 1.5 month in past because of health issue only. Now if any company asks me about it I tell them due to medical issues I took a break.

If you are in PIP process , I would suggest do not resign they will not accept resignation and you will not get severance, try to successfully complete it, if it doesn't work then they will ask you to leave with severance
