How to handle Toxic Lead

My Lead is a hitler who doesn't think of anyone, he just want things to happen in unexpected timelines like 3 days of work in 3 hours. For that even if I need to work for day and night he doesn't cares.

How to handle this? And if I stop taking stress and tell him that if you want your team members to be your slaves who can serve 24*7 and can meet your unexpected deadlines then you find someone else...Release me!

Would there be any impact if I mention him the above

Don’t do that. It can impact your career inside TCS and chances are outside as well.

What I try to follow is, analyse on the task and come up with an ETA. My ETA usually includes completion of tasks without any unknown issues.
When you are told to finish certain task under unrealistic timeline. I convey them politely that I will try my best, but I don’t promise it will be completed by the expected timeline.

But how about if you get insulted before whole team everytime for that?
Since my role is individual in team... Stand alone resource for that specific tasks

@ExemplaryAcetate you are assuming the TL is a rational and logical person who can listen to facts and can change opinions based on it.

But most of the time some TLs/most managers are stupid arrogant fucks who knows what they are doing and yet drain the life out of an associate.

This is for Everyone...

Don't do or accept those type of works where there is much pressure, when some thing happens no one will even bother and our families will get impacted.

When there is pressure, ask for Release and come out immediately. If they don't give Release - Stop doing work.

No need to take much pressure when the Payment is less.
