How to get unique ML project ideas?

Hi everyone!

I'm a data scientist. I'm bored of the work that I do at my work place. So want to work on some side projects particularly in machine learning. I have tried kaggle but for some reason don't find it motivating enough.

So would like to hear from fellow engineers/data scientists how do you guys do this?
