How to get the job as fresher... Market seems to be very competitive and referral are also not there for freshers.
This is not for me, my brother who is 2025 passed out, facing issue to get interview and if getting, they are offering very low like you cannot afford living in that area. I suggested to study java and springboot extensively so that he can bypass the MERN market, now here in java dev also.. similar story. college placement is same.. they don't give f these days .
Any suggestions, tips to get interview, will help a lot. How does naukri and other platform helps.. any trick to get interview from those.. (all he is getting interview from just the job posted by HR on LinkedIn, nowhere else).

Overall hiring is become more competitive than it used to be for fresher.
IITs and NITs and and few top private colleges have enough opportunity on campus itself.
But for tier 3 or state government colleges.. things are bad. Competition is way more than others.
And moreover, as a fresher, off campus is way more tougher than that. And this AI thing..
The things boils down to that, HR are lowballing like anything when you try to get something off campus.
