Trending @Accenture; How to get rolloff from the CIO projects ?

I am an associate for last 2.5 years and my manager said we don’t have budget so we can’t promote you in this cycle also. For June cycle he said ki I will see because there are lots of person who joined the project before you. I want roll off from the project. Could someone please suggest any idea ?

If you take a roll-off now, you’ll have to prove yourself again in a new project with a new team. Your promotion may get delayed, so it’s better to stay in the current project and look for opportunities outside Accenture

Don’t you think why profile will show a bad impression as I don’t get any promotion in 3 years and no hike ? The other company will think that I don’t have potential that’s why I don’t get any promotion and hike ?

You are right! the more you change project the more it delays the promotion/hike, i am in ACT joined as Level 9 - 2021, now more than 4 years changed 2-3 project and now still with no promotion/hike, its very true in every project you go there are already people with longer MAL waiting for promotion, so if you are not EXCEPTIONAL dont expect changing project would give you anything even if you are really good!!

CIO never have budgets.. better switch to any client project and it's better in terms of both hikes and experience.

I also want a roll-off from the CIO project. There is a lot of work pressure here and no proper management. They want me to handle responsibilities that an existing employee, who has more than three years of experience on the same project, is already handling. I don’t want to be part of this project anymore, and I have come to know that if someone asks for a roll-off, they are put on a PIP and labeled as a bad performer.
