
How to get rid of Micro-manager
My manger gets in to detail of which type of sick leave I am taking, Like for example if I take a sick leave under Emotional well being then he ask me why i have selected that category,
I am like why he wants to know which type of sick leave I am applying although it's just 2 day sick leave that too not in continuous manner.

These type of managers are either accidental manager or forcefully became manager . They don't even know what manager should do . They only think manager means a person who own his team as his own property 😀

If you go to HR or loop HR they will also say to specify what kind of sicknesses is there.. That is the rule I believe.. If you notice we have to manually enter details after selecting SL OPTIONS

You have to provode details to HR but you can always deny details of your sickness to supervisor as health related data comes under GDPR data.
But if HR ask to send details you cannot deny . It's supposed to be sent one on one to HR

Fake a good dramatic/horror story and let him know. Make his feet tremble so he wont ask again.
