Trending @Infosys; How to get rid from manager
Iam infy employee, Is it possible to tell manager that iam not interested in the project and wanted to get released from project, so that i can sit on bench and explore different opportunities?? What could happen if i tell this
So how did land in this project? Did you not explore opportunities then? Unfortunately this is life it’s unfair. Infosys is not paying you to choose a project of your interest. Project vs skill set vs interest would never be a 100 match in any company. There will always be bad projects with bad work but infy gets money as long as it can put a body to that requirement: and that body is we. You can let them know that your are not interested in this project and want to explore other opportunities but you can’t abruptly ask for release . It will taken against you .other options wait for 1.5 years apply IjP. Quit. Underperform so that they throw you out but again risk getting low rating next cycle
Underperforming is what iam trying to do over last few months... I will try emailing manager expressing that i wanted to leave, if she don't let me leave, i will have to issue notice.. Is it possible? Will it have any consequences while iam switching to other company?
IJP not possible since iam only here for less than a year
wat is the tenure in project ? if eligible to apply ijp , apply it and move. if not then try bridge programs if applicable. Even if that is not possible explore outside options.
why you are not interested, in this project, what is the guarantee that you can tell to yourself on your next project wont be same ?Dont let others control or decide your happiness / sadness. Attain inner peace by controlling your emotions. At the most only you will loose job. If not this job , some other job. If not this field some other field. Life wont stop here ofcourse some adjustments to be made.
Thats the good question but for me this area is not what iam looking for, iam looking on to some other domain. Iam looking forward to mail manager expressing that o wanted to get released frm this project. If she didn't let i will issue notice immediately. If iam able switch to different domain it would help to find new jobs even if i left infy any ways...
