Trending @Infosys; How to get released from project
Hi, recently I have mapped into a project. in my account there are only two members excluding me and those two members are from onshore . Also there is no lead assigned to our account. No one is helping me for the things which I have to work on. And manager told me you have to do all the things single handedly, no one will give u any support.So I want to take release from this shit* project where no one is supporting.
And when I asked the person who took interview he told me like if u want to get released I will put your rating as under performance and then HR will discuss.
Actually my confirmation is not done yet .It is in july 2024. So the rating thing will cause any affect or not?
So please help me, how can I get released from this project ..
As far as i know ratings don't have any impact until and unless we are a confirmed employee,so as you said your confirmation is not yet done there shouldn't be any impact but if you are getting released from the project then confirmation will get extended.
Actually they are not releasing. And things are getting worst for me. So, what should I do now. Can I start ignoring their call or meetings and don't do any work.
Is this fine or there can be actions taken by manager or HR if I do these things like??
No that is not the correct approach,it that way it will impact your career if you are blacklisted. Instead try saying your manager that you won't be able to handle the work load , ask him/her to either provide support or get you released... And it also depends on the project and unit you are working in.. if there is no help from your manager escalate this issue to hr or DM.
