How to get released?

I got release from a ultimatix project by not performing and just ignoring what my manager use to say. Irritated him by not responding to him and than after 2 months he himself released me. Only thing I ensured that I didn't done anything which will lead to HR action.

i think to revoke papers also need your manager approval its not like a button which you can press and things will be revoked
