How to get release from current project?

I got stuck in non technical project and manager is not giving even after informing multiple times. He is not utilising the other resources properly and totally depend on me. I am frustrated. Dont know what to do. I have informed to his senior but no proper revert. I have total 6 yrs exp and 1 yr in tcs. Worst management i ever seen in my life. Shall i connect to Hr?

Pls do comment

Same issue with me, even after many tries not getting release 😔. Here it seems its easy to get release from the company than the project.

I spoke to my project manager head. He is agreed to release after 4 month. Lets see whether he is keeping in mind or not.

Get the offer, resign and ask them to release you from the project. Revoke the resignation once they fulfill your demand.
If you prefer a straight forward way, you will never get released from a project.
This is based on the experience of my senior colleague.

What makes you think they will release after resignation. They will keep them on the project until the last day.

Especially if OP is someone the manager depends on.

I have seen a similar case with huge dependencies.
My colleague got released and he got chance to relocate onsite for long term.

Keep dropping mails for every 10-15 days stating that your area of interest is different and u want a release. U might get it may be in 4-5 months
