How to get release from current project?

I was about to be released in month of December my manager called and said we are releasing you due to budget issues I gave interviews and got selected in other accounts but on 31st they said account team has asked us to keep you on hold as new projects may come in feb so now they have kept me on project bench not sure how much time they will keep me on project bench🫠🥹 and they have tagged me in some internal POC any suggestions appreciated.
