How to get release from a Bad Project

My skillset doesn't match and being a senior resource I was being forced to do L1 stuff. Fought with the so called Micro management Team Lead who is same grade as mine. Though i was assured over email of release from the project once it is stabilized, now even after stabilization phase is completed they aren't releasing. What shall I do to get release?

Don’t do the work which is assigned to you , in the same way attend the office without fail and make sure u login for 9 hrs . Do not attend any meetings , let the manager escalate to hr then ask for an one on one with hr and ask for release and your huddle , then u might have a good changer of changing to some other project but don’t know u will get good project as per your needs or not .

Release in tcs is impossible, look for opportunities outside

There are two ways to secure release one is escalation to the higher level of the management or directly with client if that doesn't work then only way to get the same is to take as much as leaves as you could making them frustrated from you and later leaving them no other option than releasing you from the project or else the final option would be of looking and preparing for opportunities so that you could switch once you find one that matches with your requirement..

In nutshell it is tedious process and same goes with entering to a new project. Better to focus same efforts outside and secure a new job.

You know the reason why we dont get calls, it's the 90 days NP. Have been trying to move out.

raise employee concern and focus about mental health and aspiration part..in my team one got release in 3-4 hr after raising it...which he was fighting for 2-3 months ..but it should be the last resort after verbal, formal mail, follow up,etc.

To get release from a bad project you need to become a bad resource for them ...

Don't stop working but do the bad work 😎

Get an escalation

I have had already escalated to HR & DM. DM said he will release once they get a replacement and after proper handover. Asked for RMG details such that can find a resource, now no reply to my emails(verbally agreed)- may be full busy schedule or want to screw my career. Both way possible.

Escalate it to higher management if no mistake from your end.
