How to get release
I’ve been working on my current project for the past 2.3 years, and I am now looking to transition to a new opportunity within the organisation and my manager is insisting that won’t release me before 3 years.
I’m struggling with night shifts and want to request a day project Also I’m looking to grow my skills in a new domain.
Could anyone please guide me on the process for requesting a project release? I would greatly appreciate any advice or steps to ensure a smooth transition.
Talk to your manager directly and explain your situation. If he still refuses, escalate the matter to HR. Be firm and persistent. You deserve to work in a project that aligns with your career goals and well-being.
This and stop working. Nothing hurts your manager more than things not going his way. If your voice is not registering, make sure it registers.
More importantly, it's not going to be a smooth transition. You have to fight for it, so be prepared.
