Trending @Accenture; How to get Promotion?
I have been working as a Senior Analyst since 2 years ! My reporting manager changed recently. I asked my new reporting manager that will I get promotion this cycle , he said he needs to track my work for 6 months more. What is this scenario, can anyone explain?
I will complete 3 yrs in Accenture soon. I was expecting a promotion last Dec.. I got ACE award too in last June quarter. Then I have been put into PI without any reason. But thankfully I completed it and passed it. Joined other project. I lost all the hopes and looking outside the org.
They put in PI without any solid reason because there is quota for PI as well. Compulsory need to fill that quota and also they hope resource may leave to cut costs. Best decision to look outside.
What is ACE award and on what basis it will be awarded.?
PS: I'm new to Accenture.
Your old manager as well as the current manager is an A-hole. Nothing suprising.

Similar to my case. I have started applying outside.
If you are on their radar, you will get it..if not, they will say all the rubbish things..that's the reality. One more point, it's not that every two years you will get promoted..if you are a deserving candidate, give a reason to your new manager

This is new modus operandi. They keep changing DU or say that management structural change and the new upper management does not have any clue or interest in promoting or giving hikes. Switch your job right now. Don't wait.
