2. Stand outside HR's cabin with a passport and a hopeful expression—sometimes pity works.
3. Mention ‘onsite experience’ in every casual conversation—even while ordering chai at the pantry.
4. Attend every ‘knowledge transfer’ session—because one of them might just be for the guy who's flying off!
5. Pray to the onsite gods (a.k.a. your manager)—sometimes, miracles happen!
