How to get job in Dubai

Recently a colleague moved there.
He applied for jobs through LinkedIn. Recieved calls but was rejected due to location and notice period ( Need Dubai residence and immediate joining)

After few months, tried again. This time, went on tourist visa, applied as immediate joinee. Cracked interview, Asked for 2 weeks notice to move whole setup from India, managed the notice period at his current job.... Now working in Dubai
