How to get an IT job as a fresher in today’s time?

Hi, to the freshers from 2024/ 2025, how did you succeed in getting a fulltime job Off campus? What were the steps you followed, tips for handling mental stress, networking that you did and job portals you applied to. Anything else that helped you. I know the market has become specially tough due to AI for freshers but I want to ask from folks succeeded despite it. I am asking for my brother who graduated as an IT engineer from a Tier 3 college this year. I feel like I am out of touch with what measures are succeeding in bagging a job as a fresher today and therefore reaching out to the community for help. Any help is appreciated 🙏
