How to find a job

I currently have 6 years of experience with 3 job switches during this tenure. I am looking for a job change, but I am not getting calls this time. My current company has a 3-month notice period, whereas my last two companies had a 1-month notice period. Which medium should I follow, or can anyone share tips and tricks to get a new job?
