How to develop the mindset if something that's free, may not be valuable to me?

They are doing a stock clearance. They don’t want the items, so they have to get rid of them somehow. They are giving them to the ordering people, as this will be considered free goodies for many. However, sometimes you may not receive the item at all it depends on availability.

Take it and give it to stray cows ..
