How to decline the project allocation

Was on bench for a month and got allocation in a project and I need to report there from Monday, but I got another project that matches my skills better. I think I can perform well there. spoke with manager but he's not agreeing. How to decline the allocation.

Mail to project manager to remove allocation as you have been selected for other project. Put hr and rmg in cc. Put in mail that resource consent is mandatory part for project allocation and without any confirmation mail from you they cannot force you to join project. If you are willing to join a particular project as you have been selected then there are no issues. Issues happen when you dont have project and then keep declining to stay on bench.
