How to deal with your colleagues who are very elder to you ?

I work in a bank as PM, I don’t know how to handle stakeholders who are of my uncle’s age. It would be helpful if anyone share their experiences in working with elder colleagues.

Be respectful. That’s usually all they want.
And they take time to understand things but they eventually get there.

If they’re being impolite to you or totally not listening to you. That’s material for complaining

I'm 23 and most of the stakeholders that I handle are of the age 35-50. It's a bit awkward at first, but then they're chill and I'm also getting used to it. But I'm not a PM.

Pretend to listen and mindless revert at correct times. Most of them have their own glory day stories of struggle whereas you have it easy. And be wary of them, they’re literal leeches who have only survived the system by ass licking or stagnating.
