Give as good as you get from them. Be a bully killer.
I'm more of a passive person who navigates past all of this but despite that there are peers who would constantly identify something and cause hurdles in every step of the way. I tried raising this to my manager, he says that these things are something that I need to deal with myself as there will be more ppl who will put us down once you move up the ladder. I was not inclined with his advice but still would just listen and move on

That's pretty much common in all org. They don't do any actual work but grow by putting others down.
don't get involved, stop giving them attention. ask them to mind their own business.
I quit and refused to work on my notice. Fuck off bullies.

Don't think about them , I know it's difficult but just don't think . If they are pointing mistakes that's ok acknowledge it try to rectify it . If they are rude to you be rude at the same moment. Don't carry any mental baggage just don't think , concentrate on your work . Find new and better job and move on. Plus once you start succeeding bullying will stop
