How to deal with office politics?
I am currently experiencing a significant increase in oversight that is impacting my productivity. I am required to provide status updates three times daily across different platforms (morning stand-ups, evening syncs, and end-of-day emails). Additionally, I’ve noticed a pattern of public criticism during team meetings and repetitive feedback loops via email.
This redundant communication structure is creating a bottleneck and suggests a lack of alignment on performance expectations
Any suggestions what to do??

Office politics happens only when some on the team views you are a competitor or your manager thinks you are actively looking to change project/job.
Try to put a picture that your are under severe personal stress and you are not looking to a job right now, you just need some stability.
What ever happens dont not show yourself as a happy, satisfied person looking to take up additional responsibility.

PIP karne vale hai, stop working. Now due to new labour laws, they are required to pay for overtime 2x the salary. Confront ASAP. If you get fired in upcoming cuts then you will get severance.
Corporate is like a daldal. Don't move and stay afloat. You move and you seep deeper. Get out before it's too late.

Because of the politics I am rated low and given as PIP.
I have been witnessing the same. My manager has been micromanaging me a lot and she has been saying that you are the owner of this task but she has not given me enough power and authority to take decisions. She wants to be first POC in all matters. It has been a disturbing and mentally exhausting all the time.
