How to crack a high paying job as a RPA developer

Hello everyone, I'm working as a RPA developer working on uipath, in a regression testing project. I want to switch can you suggest how to move forward, should I change domain Some of my friends make crazy amounts of money by switching to different companies but they are backend or full stack dev I'm not able to decide how to approach this junction I know ML python but when i go deeper in data science I'm far behind everyone in terms of knowledge 🙃
