How to convince recruiter that i am not a frequent job hopper?

I’m planning to start my job hunt in May.

Currently, I am working at my 3rd company with about 3.3 years of experience. If I start in May, my experience would be 3.6 years.

  • Company 1: Spent 1 year
  • Company 2: Spent 1.2 years
  • Company 3: Current (At May, it will be 1.4 years)

Reasons for Switching:

  • Company 1 to Company 2: I switched from a service-based MNC to a product MNC as I wanted to work in a product-based environment.
  • Company 2 to Company 3: I moved to a company in my home state to be closer to my family.

Current Situation:

  • I currently work in a product company, and the job location is also near my family.

Reasons for Switching Again:

  • The senior management is toxic, often pushing us to work overtime. There’s internal politics where you do the work but are not recognized for it. Instead, the manager projects those who are closer to him, as the team lead and the manager have a long-standing personal relationship.
  • Frequent team changes are also happening, which I’m not comfortable with.
  • Lastly, I am looking for better compensation.

Now, if I start in May, the question of "3 companies in 3 years" will come up. I cannot explain the reasons mentioned above directly, so I need to phrase this in a way that is more acceptable.

Here’s what I have come up with:

"There have been ongoing internal restructuring discussions, and while the company is stable, there is some uncertainty about its long-term strategic direction. I want to be in a place where I have clarity on future growth opportunities and can contribute to impactful projects in a stable and empowering environment."

Does this sound convincing and professional for the recruiters? Any suggestions or better reasons to convince the recruiter ?

I made up situations where i said my first comoany did pay cuts and while i like working there the company did not seem stable. Word it better. And then mentioned how i had to work 14 hours a day at my second company so many times. As long as you have legitimate sounding reasons, they are usually fine.

you dont. If the skillset matches/timeline to join matches, they will hire anybody. Even people with fake experience. If they have alternative, or enough time to hire, then it doesnt matter what we say or do, they will not hire.
