How to change unit / request for release?
One of my colleague has recently joined TCS and been mapped to a wrong project which is not matching his expertise (SAP) containing 7+ yrs of experience.
He belongs to the same unit as project does. Also without any consent the project was allocated. Please help, as this could ruin his career path.
He has to Request the manager to initiate release. He will get released into the current account/IOU. If he wants to get into any IOU projects, he has to be released to general pool. For that the current IOU RMG has to prove that there is no projects to be available for him to be mapped in current IOU. Then the current IOU Head RMG will approve his release for general pool which is Others-Parent IOU. From there he can get any project as he wants based on skillset. But it will take more than 15+ days
It's very difficult to get release , RMG people are not good people
