How to change fields in IT

Hi I have 8 YOE and working as a Java backend developer. Recently I am not feeling interested in coding and very much interested on Data or analytics and business related activity. My question is how can I change my path/stream within TCS. Want to know your experience/suggestions/inputs please.Thank you.

Try to work on a data analytics project. Ask for a project change. Explain your intentions clear to your manager. If he's a good one,he will think about it
