How to change Account

I just joined TCS 9 months ago whole may my plan was to go for development role but they lured me into a BFSI account based in Canada and now I am stuck with manual testing. Asking them about the same the manager says there are no positions vacant for a Developer. They wont give me release from that account. If they will release they will give a D band. Any Idea guys What to do?
