How to become a Product Manager?

I want to become a Product Manager. Can someone suggest me how I can work towards becoming one?

My background is as follows- I am a final year student of a dual degree program in Computer Engineering and Finance from NMIMS Mumbai.

My previous internship was a client facing one majorly focusing on client interactions and problem solving for Clients in taxation.

Other than that, I have experience working in college committees and pretty good hold on finance.
